BB Dakota Drape Front Cardigan Coat

I have never written a review but this needed to be said. I loved the style so I purchased in 2 colors. You can't machine wash or dry clean it. After wearing them a hand full of time the fabric started getting linty. They both completely fell apart. It looks like a cheap $5.00 item. I posted a close up of the way the fabric looks.

I ordered in the tan color in a medium. It fit very big, I could have went down to an XS to be honest. It made me feel like a washed out frumpy old lady but the material was nice and soft. I returned it for someone else to love. I dont think ill repurchase in a better size either i just wasn’t blown away by the style or fit of it in person. I felt very drab

Perhaps I misread the description of this item, but this is not remotely a coat. It’s more of a shawl like sweater and an unimpressive one. It’s thin, baggy, and the edges/seems don’t have any kind of tailored finishing so it looks a little frumpy. For reference I’m always a small and it felt big, but I don’t think an xs would have helped. I do love the belted drape front look but was hoping this would have a little more durability and that I could actually wear this outside during fall/winter as a coat. Nope. This one is going back.
