Enhanced with elastic fibers, Baxter of California Hard Water Pomade is a firm-hold, water-based styling formula that provides dimension, shine and all-day control without stiffness. It rinses clean out of hair at the end of the day. Baxter of California pomades can be mixed and matched to achieve a multitude of hair styles.
How to use: Put a fingernail-sized amount of pomade into the palm of your hand and rub hands together to disperse. Apply evenly to damp or dry hair. Use more product for increased hold and style. Apply product to wet hair for more of a wet-look finish. Apply to dry hair for a more natural look with less definition.

new formula is just terrible!!!
like all the other reviews I have read about the new formula I completely agree that the product has changed for the worse. It dense and not smooth like the previous formula. Too bad. It was great while it lasted....

Baxter hard water pomade was added recently, by me to my hairstyling regimen. My hair is longer than shoulder length. It’s pretty thick too. The hard water pomade provides strong hold and doesn’t look greasy. Great product. Thanks! JG

The hard water pomade has a great hold and shine. I like my hair a little long on top. I use this to comb to the side and keep it held there. The shine this gives is great and lasts several hours.

ONE OF MY FAVORITES
Originally I ordered HARD WATER POMADE , but unfortunately received hard cream pomade which , did not disappoint, to be very clear the Baxter team were very generous to let me keep both after the error. I Can fully testify that hard water pomade and hard cream pomade are up there in my top choices for hair product. I would definitely recommend to anyone reading this, believe me these are solid picks. Now another point I want to touch up on is that their customer service team was absolutely on point and polite so far haven’t came across of a lot of customer service teams like theirs, so if there is an issue please note that you will be taken care of. As far as the hard water pomade it works really well , only thing I do want to Comment is that since I have very thick hair and wavy it doesn’t hold as much as I would like but don’t get that mixed up because I still use it when my hair is shorter. Typically when I just get a haircut and want something that’s going to make my hair have a bit of shine. Overall solid pick.
