Transparent- glassy, glossy, super hydrated moisturized aesthetic. It looks so fresh. Great if you’re not afraid of that borderline grease glow. This one really can get a little greasy looking, not like ew I haven’t taken a shower in weeks greasy, but whoa I used one too many drops of face oil greasy. Gorgeous I love it and I’m not afraid of the occasional grease. It’s so fun to apply it’s hard to stop.
Sculpting- arguably more practical than transparent due to the less greasy look. This does not leave a cast on my skin. It just has a really nice dewy glow with the most subtle touch of shimmer. I actually find myself loving this a little more than transparent. I feel it’s easier to not go overboard, it’s a bit more forgiving. Similar formula but not as slick as transparent.
Golden hour- it took me a few tries to really appreciate this one, but now it’s one of my favorites. It is just so pretty and peachy, golden, touch of tan, glossy level is closer to sculpting. I really enjoy this as a highlight and almost as a very subtle bronzer. This is a very special color and effect. Great for daytime use, nighttime I would be very strategic and careful how it’s applied or maybe only use in flattering ambient lighting.
All of these have serious luxurious packing, formula, colors and performance are all different but of course share similar stick form and methods of allocation. For all of these I prefer to apply by using my fingers to tap in product. I’ve tried swiping the stick onto my face, transparent would be the only one that doesn’t really drag the skin. Excellent for no makeup or minimal makeup days. Excellent for those who just don’t like to wear a lot of makeup. Also these do not dry down, none of the formulas do. They do travel on your skin depending on the climate, activities, etc. but it’s not like it’s runny mascara, you’ll just notice that anything below the product might end up getting a bit of a balmy glow.
Also I have sensitive skin and these products do not cause any irritation, tiny bumps, rashes etc for my skin. Also these formulas wear well over skincare and other makeup I’ve even worn over powder and it’s fantastic.
Please Chanel, don’t change this original formula, feel free to add more colors but please don’t mess with this formula.
