Basquiat Funnel Neck Coat

I loved the quality of this jacket. Great wool blend fabric, warm, and soft. But coat fits very oversized and too long for the style. I am typically size 12-14, 5’10”, 185 lbs. This coat swallowed me a bit. Sleeve length was great for me since I have long arms, but sleeves were just too wide. Also coat fit too oversized in chest area. I wasn’t a fan of the length, it would look a lot nicer if it was a bit more cropped, but the coat hit me in the widest part of my butt and just wasn’t flattering.

Love everything about this coat: color, sizing, fabric, style. Style is meant to be oversized and the sleeves are long, but it is so comfortable and chic. Although it is referred to as funnel neck, the collar (when unbuttoned at top) opens wide and lies flat for a very flattering silhouette. There are buttons all the way up to close the collar for warmth. The med is a perfect slouchy fit but they didn’t have a small in store for comparison. I purchased the M but am considering ordering a S to make sure. With this style I don’t know that it will make much difference except possibly in sleeve length.Either way, I’m thrilled with the M. Go for it! I’ll wear this forever.

Fantastic coat. Oversized and chic. Very warm; when the collar is open it is a wide flattering lapel. When completely buttoned up it keeps the wind and chill out. Large pockets, beautiful color, love everything about this coat. Bought M initially but ordered the Small to make sure I didn’t go overboard on the oversized look.

Love the color and shape of this coat however, the sleeves were a little long and the buttons were hard to button up, so I will have to return.
