Very Disappointed!
I purchased this same item several years ago, and have been extremely pleased with it. So I decided to buy another one. Wow, was I surprised! As soon as I opened the box, I noticed an overpowering petroleum smell. I opened the bag containing the item, and the smell was worse.
I draped it over a chair for a day or two -- trying to air it out and hoping the smell would lessen. Didn't work. So I tried laundering it. THAT didn't even work!!! I ended up calling Nordstrom and returning it. Sooooo disappointed!

Very Disappointed!

Barefoot Dreams changed.. Blankets don't stay soft for as long and their colors are not true to the picture. I ordered the slate blue blanket and it looks navy in person. The stone color now has a hint of pink..

Feels cheap for the price
Feels cheap for the price. Purchased during Nordstrom Anniversary Sale having forgot I had purchased this a year ago and returned it for the same reason. Do not buy. Scratchy and paper-like feel not at all the softness you feel when you have a Barefoot Dreams Circle sweater. Wish I had not returned the Barefoot Dreams Boucle blanket in exchange for this blanket. Reminder to self: purchase the Boucle next Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for the same softness experience as the Circle sweater.

Soft and warm.
I do like the blanket, maybe even a lot. I do love the color, very subtle green, refreshing
( everything else was sold out) . I really enjoy the softness and how it goes smoothly and hugs the body. Very pleasant, it’s not heavy but keeps me warm. However, it looks kind of messy, like it’s old but at the same time it doesn’t look cheap. I don’t know if that makes sense but that’s how I see it. Is it worth it? Probably not, but if you enjoy the feeling of the blanket then it is and go for it.

Best blanket ever!!!
I love that every year during the anniversary sale I can buy another barefoot dreams blanket. We have one every member of my family and I also give as christmas gifts because everyone loves these blankets. They are soft and warm. Cannot go wrong.
