Great spring dress
Great Bardot dress. It fits just as my other dress does. I am very curvy and it is sometimes hard to find dresses that fit both my hips and my waist. This one does both! I liked that the slip was shorter. The dress is much looser than the slip in my opinion. Was worried that I would have to pull the slip down during the day, but it was no problem for the full day. The straps are adjustable which was great to fit my long torso.

Loved the idea of this dress. However, when I received the dress it definitely did not live up to the online image. The dress was pretty tight in the hips and then extremely loose in the chest. I am 5’4 140lb and wear a size small in most everything. The back had a band that creates a cutout and the band hung there. Had I gone up a size the hips would have been fine. But, the chest would have only gotten more loose. The color is really pretty. Other than it was a flop. Definitely got returned.

This would look cute if you've got D cups and are a size 4 or under. Otherwise skip it, you'll look like a lumpy bag of potatoes. No room for anyone with hips or curves of any sort.

Beautiful dress
Beautiful dress, very feminine. My first time buy a bardot dress, was unsure what size i am in this brand. I ordered a small because the xsmall was unavailable at the time. I am 5'4, 117lbs. I love the laces and the style of this dress. I was a little disappointed with the color. The dress was much darker gray in person than the picture, however still beautiful. The small was too big for me, luckly the xsmall is available for exchange.

Va-voom!
I don't think the pictures here do this dress justice! It is really beautiful and flattering in person! I bought it in-store for my 18 year old daughter in a size 6 (not sure about this S, M, L online here). She usually wears a 4, but is somewhat busty so needed the 6 with this type of top on this dress. The only draw back is that the straps are very thin and not very supportive.

All of the reviews said to size up - I'm a 34dd, 5'4, 27, typically wear a 6 in dresses. Reviews said to size up so I got medium 8. It fit my busy but was HUGE on my body. I had alterations take it in and it still feels big and alterations were around $100 because of the material. After all that I'm still happy-love the dress~ and received tons of compliments at a wedding

Very awkward fit. Not recommended for hour glass
Not recommended for hour glass figures. For reference I am 5'4" 140 lbs 34c chest 27 jeans. This dress was very long and hugged in the wrong places for me.

Not for those without shape
Although the lace detailing is beautiful and high quality, this dress was not flattering to my petite frame ( I ordered an XS, 5'5, 115 lbs). I have a very straight body with few curves and this dress did absolutely nothing for my shape and hung off of my body. The material was also much heavier than anticipated. In addition, the dress was longer on me than depicted in the online photos and hit me past my knees. Unfortunately, I will be returning.
