Storied British brand Barbour has been making classic waxed jackets by hand for over a century. My boyfriend saw a person wearing a jacket similar to this on a television show. Knowing the brand and its quality products, I almost immediately thought of Barbour. I purchased the jacket for him in the olive green color and he just loved it. Though my boyfriend is 6'3" and around 200 lbs., the size large fit true to size and works well for him. There are a number of discreet pocket on the inner lining of this jacket as well, which I'm sure will come in handy when I ask him to hold my stuff! Ha! Needless to say, Ryan is looking forward to colder weather specifically so he can wear the Barbour Slim Fit Quilted Jacket.

Great fit, disappointed in quality.
Great fit, but stitching started pulling out across jacket on the quilting after a few wears. Very disappointed.

Quite Happy & True to Size
My boyfriend saw a person wearing a jacket similar to this on a television show. Knowing the brand and its quality products, I almost immediately thought of Barbour. Great, classic jacket!
I really like my new Barbour jacket that I got for Christmas. For this particular jacket, I actually went a size up. I normally wear a large but went with XL because it’s a slim fit and the XL fit great. I’m 5’10” 205lbs but workout and have broad shoulders/chest (44).

A fall/winter staple
The overall weight of this jacket is on the lighter side. Order a size up if you hope to add a sweater layer underneath. This jacket is the perfect combination of style and quality. Men are often reluctant to share compliments on clothing, but I have found that this jacket is an exception to the rule---this jacket is appreciated by both women and men. Go treat yourself, you won't regret it!

High quality but sized for taller wearers.
Excellent construction and very stylish, but unfortunately an example of 'Small' garments cut for someone over 5' 10''.
