Swimming in it
The Marie Check Water Resistant Belted Trench Coat by Barbour is stunning on the model. The material/fabric is elegant and the coat is well made. However, this trench did not work for me. I am 5'3 and weigh 120 lbs, and I was swimming in the coat. Perhaps if I was taller, the trench coat would be flattering on me. I wish The Marie Check came in a petite size.

Stylish New Trench
The mini check fabric and single breasted style give this trench a unique look. I usually wear an 8 in pants and tops but the 8 in the coat was too big. I sized down to 6 and it was perfect even with heavier sweaters underneath.

Heritage piece, a classic!
I was shopping with my daughter at Nordy’s and walking past the small coats and jackets display that had been out together in September when this caught my eye. This piece is absolutely gorgeous, and the photos offered online do not do it justice. I’ve been needing to invest for years in a good trench and when I saw this I knew it was the one. The micro print on it gives it a unique look. It also does great in the rain. Absolutely love this coat and highly recommend. In terms of sizing it’s close to TTS but runs a bit on the small side. I pretty solidly wear a 12 and bought this in a 10 and it fits perfectly.
