Perfect rain jacket
Perfect jacket. Very warm and keeps out the rain. I sized down for a more fitted look. This will make the shoulder fit tighter and sleeves shorter, but still leave enough room for a sweater underneath. The body of the jacket fits straight and loose.

weird fit
It does look very nice and of quality, but it's ill-fitting. I ordered size 40 as I wear 40-42 for most jackets and Large typically. It has way too much garment around the abdominal area. My waist size is 34" and it looked like it could easily fit someone with belly at 54".

Sizing is critical
This is the Classic Bedale with the classic Tartan, not to be confused with the regular Bedale which comes in different colors. When it arrives it looks almost like a dark brown but after wear, it quickly becomes more of an olive green. Sizing is crazy though and a perfect fit in the body will likely require some sort of alteration to sleeve length. I typically wear a 41/42 and I had to size down to a 40 and I still had a lot of room in the body but for a perfect fit in the main body, I then had Barbour add a half-inch to the sleeves as they are quite short. Thankfully this can be done directly through Barbour and their tailoring is absolutely perfect. It's worth the investment as this is a jacket for life.

Great top!
Love how this top skins the body and looks fabulous dressed up with slacks or down tucked into jeans. Washes nicely on gentle/cold and hung to dry.
