Betty Quilted Fleece Lined Vest

I like the style and quality. But the size fit is very tricky. I usually wear 4 or 6. I ordered 6 and 8. 6 is little tight with a t shirt and 8 is little big, also arm fit is big. I couldn't decide to either one. I returned both.

It's a great quality item, however as some other reviews have mentioned the sizing is a bit weird. I got the size 8 in the trunk club to try on & zipped up it was really tight across my chest even without a bra on. I'm a 34C, 130lbs and barrel chested from asthma & climbing. However it was super big by my hips, I'm used to some discrepancy when I buy dresses and coats as I'm anywhere from a 6-10 on top, while a 0-4 on the bottom, but this was even more than usual, like it made me look frumpy on the bottom. So if you aren't the typical hourglass or triangle I don't recommend this cut.

The betty fleece liner was the perfect liner that zipped into my Beadnell wax coat! I've also worn it separately as a vest! Such a versatile piece! Perfect add on to my favorite Barbour piece.

This vest fits true to Barbour sizing if you understand this is meant to fit close to your body. I ordered the brown in a 10 to go inside my size 10 Beandell wax jacket. On its own, the vest is quite tight across my chest (36DD) and I would probably go up a size but inside the jacket it’s perfect as is. Any bigger and I think it would be awkwardly bulky. The fleece lining is cozy, and lets me wear my jacket in colder temps without freezing. TLDR: if you want to wear it as a vest and have a chest, go up a size. If you want it as an insert to your Barbour jacket, order your normal size.

Overall is a nice vest and I love the color. Fit can be a little off so make sure to try on in store .
