Festive Pre Lit Red Berry Wreath

I purchased 5 of these for my home two years ago, and when I took them out for th start of this year, I decided to replace them. The little berries fall off everywhere and the paint on them break off so the white foam underneath shows through. The lights burn through batteries like crazy, over the course of the season I replace them about 3 times. Target sells better quality.

Beautiful idea, poor execution. Pros: berries are different sizes adding great dimension and texture, underlying wreath seems sturdy, lights are a plus. Cons: Berries are fragile styrofoam with broken ones showing white on the wreath, glue was visible and sloppy, many berries globby and overpainted (dipped for too long). The lights seemed like an afterthought with green wire. Disappointed that the lights aren’t rechargeable at this price point and with today’s tech … it did advertise that batteries are required, but note that it takes 3 C batteries, not D as shown in description. Wreath looks pretty from a distance, but poor workmanship readily evident close up makes the sale price of $139 much too much.
