Balios S Lux Stroller

Ok so to the person that rated the stroller 1 star, your anger is misplaced and you need to rate the customer 1 star and not the stroller. The stroller didn’t do anything to you. Now to the stroller, amazing. Such a smooth ride. It’s kind of big so I don’t see myself traveling with it but it’s good for long walks, malls, neighborhoods, amusement parks and the likes. It has this hydronic suspension thing that makes handling it even smoother. Honestly it’s worth it and I love it. My baby loves it too especially when he falls asleep and I lay him down by reclining the seat. He hangs on to the handlebar so amazed at outside lol.

We’ve loved using the CYBEX Balios S Lux! It’s such a smooth ride, even on uneven sidewalks, and the one-pull harness makes getting my daughter in and out so much easier. I also love how roomy the storage basket is since it fits everything I need for a day out. It’s stylish, easy to maneuver, and has been such a reliable stroller for our everyday adventures. Definitely one I’d recommend to other parents!!

I ordered this a few weeks ago along with 2 other items. They never arrived. But the got sent back to the warehouse. I was also promised my shipment of items would arrive within a few days. Which it did not even arrive at all and was sent a lot later than what I was told at the Nordstrom store I went to. I called to ask for a cancellation and was told that I have to wait until they process my refund for 12 days followed by another 5 days for it to appear in my bank account. Leading me to have to wait even longer to purchase these items for my infant. Very disappointed with how this turned out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used quite a few different strollers over the years—including a luxury travel stroller, all-terrain joggers, a double jogger, and other full-size strollers—and the CYBEX Balios S Lux really stood out to me for how streamlined and polished it feels while still offering the comfort and functionality of a full-size stroller. I received the Sky Blue color from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I loved the overall aesthetic. It has a very chic, clean look and doesn’t feel overly bulky, which can be difficult to find in a full-size stroller. The fabrics and finishes also felt high-quality and premium. I used it with my 18-month-old for walks around our neighborhood and while traveling through the airport, and I also used it with my newborn using the near-flat recline. The recline was especially nice for the baby, and both of my children were able to fall asleep easily in the stroller. The suspension made for a very smooth ride and seemed to make them comfortable and relaxed. The stroller performed really well on sidewalks, pavement, and a relatively flat trail. It was very easy to push and maneuver, including one-handed, and I really liked how smoothly it handled. I wouldn’t choose it for gravel or particularly bumpy trails, but for everyday strolling and most typical surfaces, I found it to be excellent. The push and brake system were also very easy to use. I also appreciated the adjustable handlebar, especially because my husband is taller and we could both comfortably push it. While our other strollers pivot up and down around a single point, my husband particularly liked that raising the handle level on the Cybex pushed the stroller further away from his longer legs creating more room when walking. One of my favorite features was actually the basket. It’s extremely large and accessible from both the front and back, and I haven’t had another stroller with a basket quite this open and usable. I fit a full size diaper backpack and still had room to access it easily. My one complaint was the fold. I didn’t find it as intuitive as I expected, and it took me a few tries to figure out the process. I also wouldn’t describe it as an effortless one-handed fold. Overall, though, I was really impressed with the Balios S Lux. For me, the biggest standout was the combination of a sleek, relatively streamlined design with a genuinely comfortable push, smooth suspension, excellent storage, and enough versatility for both my toddler and newborn. It feels like a great everyday full-size stroller without the bulk and fussiness that can sometimes come with one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stroller is SO nice. It is luxury and you can tell. Beautiful, high quality in every stitch. The ride and suspension, regardless of terrain, is as smooth as butter and very quiet. It is definitely one of the better options if you’re tall. I have very long legs and my husband is over 6’ so the tall handlebar is nice to have. The seat and all attachments are easy to use, and it looks stunning. My negatives are mostly the simple fact that it is a large stroller. It takes up a lot of trunk space and it’s too heavy for me to lift one handed. This is, of course, the trade off for an extraordinarily smooth ride, so choose your battles! Note that I did receive this product in exchange for my honest feedback as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but all opinions are completely true and my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cybex Balios stroller has definitely been a game changer. It is a sleek design with a simple, yet modern look that includes several unique features. The stroller was extremely easy to assemble and adjust for comfort– both for the adult, as well as the child rider. The seat is extremely functional and can be set up as either forward or backward facing, allowing it to be modified based on the age of the child. The handle bar for the stroller is adjustable and extends further out than other strollers I have used, making it adaptable for myself and my taller husband. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller, making outings and walks easier with our toddler. My two year old daughter loved the seat! She has been in a phase of not wanting to sit in a stroller, but has requested to ride in this one! The near-flat recline feature is a huge plus, making it much more comfortable for a nap on the go! I love that the stroller came with a cup holder, not needing to purchase another add-on. However, it only fits a small beverage, which sometimes splashes while walking through the bumpy city streets. The carrying basket below the stroller had a large capacity in both volume and weight. It was great to be able to throw an overpacked diaper back, along with a few groceries under the stroller without any fuss. Folding the stroller back up was slightly challenging and took some practice, as the wheels needed to be straight and aligned. While it wasn’t challenging, it was not as simple as other strollers to collapse. Overall, it was easy to open and close to save space in the garage or fold up and throw in my car trunk to bring with me. The wheels and suspension handled the various surfaces well. I pushed the stroller through city streets, pebbled walkways, and smooth pavement, all of which it handled well. The biggest downside to the Cybex Balios is that it can only support one child. As a mom of a toddler and very recently a newborn, I would love to have the flexibility to take one or both of my children with the same stroller in a variety of combinations, which unfortunately is not feasible with this stroller. For any family with one child who rides in a stroller, this is a great option for any terrain and use!
