Back to Black, aphrodisiac Refillable Perfume

I bought this perfume several years ago and loved it. One spray lasted all day. It came in a fancy box with a little key. I actually gave the box to a friend whose first name started with a K. Fast forward to now….I was running low so I ordered a new bottle. It came in a regular old box. When I sprayed it on once, I couldn't smell it an hour later. The next day, I sprayed it all over; my neck, my arms, my stomach on my clothes. Within a few hours, I couldn’t even smell it anymore. Kilian has watered this down or changed something and it’s no longer the same. I’m returning it. Very very disappointed in a $300 fragrance.

I don't often splurge on myself but enjoy buying nice things for my wife. She bought this perfume once years ago. She loved it, and so did I. Normally I don't notice her perfume - just that she smells good. When she wears Black to Black, I take notice. It's almost impossible to describe but is sexy and sweet at the same time. Her supply is running out and we are on a savings plan, but I'm going to surprise her with a bottle on a random day just to tell her that she makes an unremarkable Tuesday remarkable because of who she is every day.

The honey note is very present and never leaves you... during the day and while you sleep, the fragrance caresses your body and your senses. I am a woman and I need uniqueness, something special and Kilian. The black flacon has very high quality and defines the mysterious and mystical nature of this special fragrance. Alongside L'heure Verte and Don't be Shy - this is my favorite fragrance. All three are completely different - but all three are special.
