Premier True Pressure Fit Safety Gate

I rarely write reviews but have been so pleased with this gate that I wanted to let others know about our experience. I purchased this to replace an old similar pressure style gate that use to keep the dogs out of our hallway/bedrooms. My son is about to start crawling and I want to ensure the floors in that area stay clean for him. Anyhow, I did a lot of googling to find the perfect gate that would work well and look good since it would be visible from pretty much every part of our house. I ended up purchasing three gates with the intention of trying them out over the weekend and keeping the gate that worked best for us. I came across this one, but didn't know much about the brand so I spend a few hours watching YouTube videos before deciding on this model. I was very hesitant on the other models that drill into the doorway since we just had our house painted a few months ago. Based on the size of the doorway, I ordered this and two extension pieces. Once everything arrived, we put everything together to try them out. It was confusing, but we ended up not needing the two separate extension sets since the gate came with two...so I'll be returning those. The instructions have you adhere the pressure "feet" to the doorframe, but we purchased the Wall Nanny on Amazon for $10 to protect our paint. This gate is everything we had hoped for. It is incredibly lightweight but the most sturdy out of any we tried. It was well built with all the pieces welded clean unlike the others we tried. Also, my favorite part, this gate is incredibly quiet. It does not make any sound whatsoever when opening or closing which is huge. The previous one we were replacing would wake up our son nearly every time we opened/closed it, which had us constantly on edge. This gate solved every problem and we could not be happier!
