Straight leg is versatile and the high waist is medium high and comfortable. You do have to watch fabric content if you have preferences, as Silver makes a lot of different denims. Fit reference: 5' 8", 162 lbs, 33" waist, 40" hips - 32/31 is a good fit. The only reason I don't give these 5 stars is that despite putting deep pockets in men's jeans, Silver continues to put uselessly shallow waste-of-fabric pockets in women's jeans. Please do better, Silver. It's 2026 and you're better than that!
