What it is: A hair treatment that helps make styling easier while defending hair against humidity for up to 12 hours and protecting against surface damage.
What it does: It's formulated with a plant infusion derived from a blend of organic aloe, maize and guar bean to help create a smooth surface on your hair. Its formula is 92% naturally derived from plants, non-petroleum minerals or water. The treatment features Aveda's own pure-fume™ aroma with Australian sandalwood and certified organic bergamot, palmarosa and other pure flower and plant essences.
How to use: To prep hair for styling, work a small amount of product in hands and apply through damp hair. Style as desired.

FANTASTIC!!!!!
I have tried sssssooooo many different products for my hair and this is the best!! I have very long hair, and when I air dry it, it is fuzzball city... but not with this product. When i use this product on damp hair, and let air dry, it makes my hair wavy, a very sensual looking and shiny wavy. I am actually going to stock pile this product! It is a must have if you have frizzy hair.

Pls bring back the old formula
Was a loyal user for a very long time but the new formula does not work for me.

Must Have!
I bought "Smooth Infusion" with the recommendation of my hair stylist. She applies it thru my color processed, dry hair...styles it and curls it with an iron.
I have always said "if i can only make my hair look like this when I go home to do it myself." Well, it helps if i bought the products that she uses! My hair is tamable with this product and actually listens to the blow dryer and curling iron.
Smooth infusion smells great, woks excellent and gives back life into my 50+ color processed hair.
This product is a must use before styling.

Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother
I have very dry, frizzy fine colored hair and this product works great, especially with all the humidity in the Maryland/Washington, DC area. I love the smell. My hair gets prepped for the next step with this product.

OMG....Woah!!
I read reviews religiously for products I consider buying so I wanted to write a review for this. I am a believer now. I have naturally VERY curly, frizzy, dry damaged hair and I use quite a bit of different products to keep my highlighted/color treated "balayaged" hair as healthy looking/manageable as possible. I also use Aveda smooth infusion naturally straight straightening balm. I thought that worked pretty good considering my hair is SO picky and doesn't work very easily with anything I want to use in it. As soon as I used the style prep smoother on damp hair and layered a bit of my Aveda straightening balm after, holy cow it straightened like a dream and still had nice healthy volume at the roots and of course, not greasy in any way since these are quality products. I can't believe how silky and soft it left my hair, NOTHING leaves my hair silky unless my stylist gives me a blow out after a root touch up. BUY THIS, it's amazing! I will always buy this product.

What can I say? I LOVE this stuff. I've been looking for a good hair straightening product for the last ten years.... Have tried everything. Finally found something that works!!! I'm glad Nordstrom started carrying Aveda because I would have never tried this product otherwise.

Great stuff!
I've used this for years and love it. I use it after every wash - just comb out hair - use one pump to work through hair then comb again. I have long, fine hair and this helps tame it and give it a healthy look.
