What it is: A powerful hair masque that reduces frizzy volume by 50% after just one use.
What it does: It’s powered by botanicals, including certified organic cupuaçu and shea butters, and keeps your hair smooth, even in intense humidity.
How to use: Smooth evenly through your damp hair from roots to ends after shampooing. Leave on for 2-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. You may notice a squeaky feeling in your hair when you apply the masque. That means the blend of smoothing ingredients that surround each strand is working. Whatever!
I purchased this (along with the shampoo, conditioner, Naturally Straight treatment, Glossing conditioner, and Style Prep). I just love how Aveda says that the more you use it, the straighter and smoother your hair will be. NOT! It's just a marketing ploy to sell more stuff and prey upon your senses that if you just stick with it, the miracle will happen.
Listen up! The Smooth Infusion collection works no better than ANYTHING else, while you are 1. blow drying, and 2. flat ironing. Remember, Aveda claims most of these are heat-activated products.
I have been using these products for months now and feel pretty silly buying into the hype. The claims have proven futile and lifeless to the point that Aveda has lost my trust due to a very bad first impression.
I have gone back to my $10 hair care products (I'm sure I can't name them) from discount stores which work way better than this stuff.

This is my go to hair product
I love this product, it makes my hair silky soft and smells so good. I don't need to use conditioner, it works very well to stop my hair from becoming frizzy.

A rare gem!
The fact that this product even exists makes it an automatic 5-star in my book. I've dealt with wavy hair that LITERALLY octuples in size every time I brush it since I was a child and it's extremely frustrating because sometimes I just want to brush my hair out without looking like a disgruntled lion. Even if I don't brush it at all and let it air dry after using a ton of expensive products, it still poofs up and looks very unpresentable. I also prefer having long hair, but the length of my hair combined with its natural poofiness makes it so I can't even see my surroundings if my hair is down. When I try to look up products for unwanted volume, the ONLY results I get are products to INCREASE volume. It feels very lonely and frustrating trying to look for something when it seems every other person is having the opposite problem. Anyway, I'm so happy and grateful this product exists. I've only used the mask, but want to try the shampoo and conditioner too. This mask definitely does help fight that unwanted volume, and while it obviously doesn't make my hair as contained as I would like, the fact there's a product that even helps my needs at all means the world to me. It also has a beautiful scent and definitely softens my hair. Thank you Aveda!!

Works well
I've tried a few things to tame my frizz, but none have worked this well. I can't say I'm frizz free but definitely less frizzy.

omg horrible
Ok so I bought the wholeeee line since I love Aveda . And I have wild curly hair . First off my hair felt like strange , greasy but kind of sticky/hardish. But it looked straight it just didn’t FEEL clean. When I washed it I had stuff on my scalp it looked like dandruff but I never had dandruff before and it was clear like if my skin was peeling . But it was not itchy so I’m assuming the product just stocked to my scalp idk . :(
