I have used this product for several months. I was surprised by how little of the product one gets for the high price point initially. Then, after using it for some time, I was even more surprised by how ineffective and objectively useless it is. It has not noticeably thickened my hair, even when used in conjunction with Avenda Men's shampoo and conditioner for thickening hair. This was an absolutely waste of my money, and I highly recommend that other potential consumers not waste their money on this product or Aveda's other offerings for men seeking a fuller (appearing) head of hair.

Does not work and has very poor customer service. Make sure you check how to return before ordering online, they do not pay return shipping and there are not many stores for online return. Over the phone, they say you can return very easily in-store while ordering. Worst customer service.

So here's my two cents on the matter I have thinning wavy hair my wife had received a sample ,after trying so many products and had given up on every single one of them, to sticky to thick etc you get my drift , my wife decides to slather it on my hair almost as a joke I can't tell you how we both wore surprise how it made my hair look "fuller in a very natural way " she finished it with the universal styling cream To smooth out some frizzy WOW! Even my son complimented how good my hair looked that's big for me because he always teased me about loosing my hair not sure yet if it works in the long run as it claims to do so with conjunction with shampoo only as previous review question as well I totally agree need specifics on usage to see results or can you use individually and still see a difference just wish it wouldn't be so expensive but I'm very pleased with results that I decided go for it !

I just bought two more bottles. I would have purchased the Invanti scalp revitalizing shampoo but it was out of stock. I like the fact that this product makes my hair feel a bit thicker but I have no idea if, absent use of the accompanying shampoo that it works long term. For such an expensive product, I think that Aveda could include separate product description and use instructions. For instance, as a FAQ, will this product work, if I don't use it with the Invanti Shampoo? Is if fine to use with the other Aveda products that I do use but are not targeted for hair thickening? Of do I continue purchases on a hope and a wish?
