"Head" Problems
Have used the previous version for one year. After searching high and low for a remedy for my "head" problem. This shampoo provided relief. Relieved the itching and acne like "head" problem I now have. The new version seems to work into the hair and rinse more easily. Also doesn't seem quite as drying to the scalp and hair. Have tried weaning off this product due to the expense; but bam! the problem returns in no time. I am 64 year old female. Never having skin or scalp problems in earlier life.

Not improved formula.
I have used the original invati for about 5 years and loved what it did to my thinning hair. But this new formula is very different and made my hair very limp and greasy!

Results on hair loss...
If you're experiencing thinning hair or hair loss issues, the Invati range is aimed at helping that - minus the harsh chemicals... Back in 2017 Aveda updated all the formulations in this line up (which I first tried way back in 2011) and being a big fan of Aveda products I was looking forward to finally seeing what the upgraded products had to offer... Firstly, the ingredients. There's more of them: beneficial herbs and plant extracts aplenty in this and of course no SLS. The packaging has also been improved. I had issues with the dispenser clogging up with the old version, so far this one has not given me any problems. I use this every second day, massaging into my scalp and letting it do its thing for a couple of minutes whilst I soap up. You don't have to off course as instructions don't suggest this, I just find it more beneficial to allow the ingredients a chance to be absorbed and work their magic. It smells nice - herbal-y with a hint of Lavender and perhaps Rosemary in there, lathers quite well and rinses out easily leaving my hair looking shiny and getting rid of any scalp build-up. Results have been quite good so far, it does seem to help with reducing hair loss when used as a full system, but I find that the cost involved in purchasing all the products quickly adds up, example: shampoo is $34 USD for 6.7 fl oz) which for me is slightly on the 'high' side. Overall not as effective as other hair loss products I've used before but still definitely worth trying, the ingredients are full of botanicals with good properties and actually makes me look forward to using and getting all that goodness into my hair and scalp!
-> My ‘Nordstrom Beauty Top 7 must-have list’ (thought it might be useful to share my 7 favorite beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Nordstrom) <- < 1. Hair Loss Treatment: Divine Herbal Hair Oil < 2. Concealer: ‘Mac’ - Studio Finish Concealer < 3. Lip Gloss: Clarins Lip Comfort Oil < 4. Mascara: ‘Lancome’ – Cilis Booster XL < 5. Anti-Aging Serum: Divine Herbal Facial Treatment Serum < 6. Mask: ‘Eve Lom’ – Radiance Transforming Mask < 7. Face Scrub: ‘Sisley' - Botanical Gentle Buffing Cream

Thicker hair and less hair loss? YES!
I wanted to review this because the Invati system changed my hair. I'm 40 and my hair was really starting to thin out. Every time I would take a shower, I'd see the amount of hair on the drain and want to cry. You could even start to see my scalp through my hair. I knew this stuff was expensive but I was willing to try it. I'm so glad I did because by the second day, there was barely any hair on the shower drain! I've used the system consistently since Dec 2019 (and it's 3/21/20 now) and my hair is thicker and much longer! I've gotten so many compliments on my hair. Will these make you hair silky smooth? No. But I didn't buy it for that. I wanted my hair thicker and to stop falling out so much and it 100% did that.
