What it is: A high-gloss emollient with rice bran oil.
Who it's for: Ideal for those with tight (3B, 3C) or coily (4A, 4B, 4C) hair.
What it does: It smoothes ends, conditions and makes your hair easy to comb while imparting extraordinary shine.
How to use: Dispense a small amount of product into the palm of your hand. Rub hands together and apply to dry hair. Begin application at the back of your head, moving hands forward. Distribute evenly from scalp to ends.

Beautiful Shiny Hair
I love this product. I’ve been using this product for years. A little goes a long way. It leaves my hair shiny and beautiful. As an African American woman with a relaxer and permanent color, I use it daily to keep my hair shiny and silky smooth. I get so many compliments on my hair.

So disappointed
Please bring back Light Elements!! My Aveda hair dresser and I agree that the Brilliant Finishing Gloss just does not work for most people! It is too heavy and makes my hair greasy (and I have wavy, thick/coarse hair). The Light Elements was AMAZING and honestly the one product that kept me loyal to Aveda.... Please reconsider...

Nothing Better for Shine
For us gals who want shiny hair without the greasy look, this is the stuff! I'm a senior who still likes some life in her hair and a few squirts of this gloss and my hair looks fantastic. Worth every cent.

Brilliant is Brilliant
I have been enjoying this product for over 5 years with excellent results. The weightlessness is perfect for everyday, but it simultaneously gives enough gloss and moisture to keep my short sassy style, intact and with just enough shine to highlight my healthy relaxed, hair!

Please bring back Light Elements Smoothing Fluid
I wanted to echo the same plea as others before me and also express my disappointment that the Light Elements smoothing fluid is discontinued. I worked for an Aveda shop while in college, early 2000's. I loved the smell of this Brilliant product and it's shine but it was too heavy for my wavy medium thick hair, even in Miami. Then the Light Elements came on the market!! I remember that wonderful day. I bought it for all my friends & family too. However, I remember in my employee training, Aveda usually has a valid reason for discontinuing a popular product. I'm still an Aveda fan girl but this was definitely my favorite all-time product. And now the hunt starts before DC summer humidity begins, believe me, I've tried almost all Aveda offers that could be comprable. Thanks for considering my plea. :)
