great prduct
I love Aveda products, and this is no exception. I have normal to oily skin, and I spray this on each morning after washing before my moisturizer. Its light, smells amazing, and helps keep oil at bay throughout the day.

Not for me.
I would imagine this would be of more benefit to other customers. It is convenient in a spray bottle which is the reason I chose to purchase it. However, as a Retin-A user I found it irritating to my skin. I suspect the peppermint oil is the reason for my problem when using it. I will likely be sending this back unless my daughter is interested in using it. I would not recommend it for other people who use prescription retinoids.

This toner comes in a plastic bottle. It used to be in a nice glass bottle. The ingredients that were stated on the website are not the same as on the bottle. It basically smells like witch hazel and a slight rose hydrosol scent. I can purchase a similar product for under 10.00. Very misleading.

What happened to the original formula?
I used this aveda toning mist many years ago so I decided to purchase it again,the formula has changed. Feels like a water mist and very light scent,not like the original formula at all so I won't purchase again.

refreshing
I use this to take off the first layer of makeup (foundation only, not eyes!) with a cotton ball, before washing my face - it is light and refreshing. Then I use it again as a "toner" after I wash.
