What it does: It conditions skin with creamy mango butter and features Aveda's own pure-fume aroma with certified organic lavender, ylang-ylang, geranium, orange and other pure flower and plant extracts.
How to use: Massage onto wet skin and work into a lather, then rinse. Avoid the eye area.

Nonabrasive Exfoliating properties work Wonders!
I have used this product for years now and have never been disappointed. You can actually feel the exfoliating beads deep clean your skin, leaving your face smooth & refreshed.

Worst exfoliant ever
Come on Aveda! You are better than this product. I've loved your products for 20+ years, so consider this constructive feedback. This product is supposed to be an exfoliating creme cleanser. It does neither clean or exfoliate. There are a few soft blobs that I think are supposed to represent a scrubbing substance but do nothing. The cleanser is so slimy that even after washing off with a washcloth, I still feel like I need to wash it off with soap. To be honest, when I grabbed for it in the shower, I thought I accidentally used leave-in conditioner on my face. The worst. Just start over on this one.

Very light exfoliating
Smells like an Aveda product should but not as strong. Very heavy creamy cleanser. I would not call this exfoliating at all it doesn’t have enough exfoliating characteristics to be effective. I would not recommend for oily skin.

Great facial cleaning creme
I wash my face with this creme since 5 years ago. It is gentle on the skin but it cleans your pores and oily areas. My skin type is oily to normal so you should try it first. All natural product that Aveda is known for. Love it !!

Buy, Use, Repeat!
I've been using the Exfoliating Crème Cleanser for years, and it's definitely one of my favourite Aveda products. Despite what some reviewers are saying, I haven't detected a change in aroma, consistency or the ability to do its job well. I have a beard and I find that it thoroughly cleans both beard and skin underneath with excellent results. I usually use it once daily & occasionally twice, it doesn't cause any irritations ( & I would consider myself to have sensitive skin) I will continue to use it for as long as it's available.

Silky Smooth
A small amount ....gently removes whatever does not belong on my face/skin. Leaves my face feeling so clean and smooth. I will reorder in the future.

Perfect for acne prone skin
Love love Aveda products. I was using acne free foam cleanser but it kept running out of stock so used this in the meantime for my face and Omg the literal best! Has helped keep my skin free of breakouts and cleared up my pores. Will be using from now on.
