What it is: An aromatic, nourishing oil for the body, bath and scalp that softens and moisturizes skin.
What it does: It's formulated with a nourishing blend of certified-organic soybean, olive and safflower oils. The moisturizing oil helps seal in moisture to skin, relieving dryness and leaving skin feeling soft and supple. Its uplifting aroma features notes of certified-organic rosemary, lavender, bergamot and other pure flower and plant essences.
How to use: After a shower or bath, apply a few drops to damp skin to help seal in moisture and deliver radiance. You can also add it to running bath water or use it for a nourishing scalp and body massage.

multi-purpose oil
I've been having an EXTREMELY dry scalp the past 2 months that would shed in huge flakes, get stuck in my hair or on my clothes, which was super gross and I was so embarrassed about it.
So basically, I saturated my scalp with this oil last night, let it sit for a couple hours, took a shower as usual, and ALL MY FLAKES ARE COMPLETELY GONE.
I plan on using this (but not quite so much as the first time) before every shower to prevent the flakes from coming back.
I can also see this oil used as a nice massage oil or on other areas of skin besides scalp that might be particularly dry.
PLUS it smells great! it's a light, calming lavender smell.

very disappointed
what has happened to the, "pure-formance composition oil?" the current one available is not the same. i have worn the original, ONLY, for 20+ yrs because i don't care for cologne. i have always received compliments on the smell! now i cannot find it anywhere.

Amazing body oil!!!
I’ve been getting lots of headaches and I though is probably my old perfumes.... so decide to go with a more natural oil... love it so much!! Smell soft.. feels great on my skin and no more headaches!!! Thank you Nordstrom for all the good quality you provide to us!!!!

Waste of money, and such a disappointment
I hadn't shoppped Aveda oin a while, and remembered them for a lovely herbal scent and decent products. This oil, that I bought to moisturise my skin and hair, performed in a mediocre fashion and is so expensive for a tiny amount. To add insult to injury, it smells rather like Lysol. I don't mind Lysol, but not what Paid - exorbitantly - for. Won't be buying Aveda again.

Amazing and it lasts ages!
I am sooo happy with this oil. It soothes my anxiety, adds a luxurious feel to my showers or bath. Works great and skin and hair, honestly the most amazing all purpose oil I've ever used. I bought this over a year ago and I still have more than half of the bottle.

Amazing Oil!
I have used this Aveda product for many years -- on my hair! I am a blonde, and it makes my hair gleam like no other. People say it makes me look like an angel! What more can you ask?!
