Thermalpuff^™ Longline Hooded Puffer Vest

I am on the fence about keeping this vest. I love the long length. I am 5'3" and it hits below the knee- just to boot top. I wish North Face still made coats in this length. It is bulky and I love the hood. I am afraid that when it is cold enough to wear this I will cold even with a heavy sweater- around the armholes and arms. Bulkier than the Zella one.

I like the length and the purple color but I can’t decide if I should keep this vest or not. It’s not actually very warm for the amount of bulk and the wind goes right through. It’s more of a fashion piece for transitional weather. Even at the sale price I’m not sure it’s worth keeping. Might be okay in warmer climates but not so much in CO.

This is a very warm, appropriately long vest for Midwest fall and winter. The pockets are an amazing size, the vest seems to be of great quality. I feel the sizing runs a bit large, but it's ok as it will leave me plenty of room to layer underneath and potentially even wear when pregnant. I'm most bummed that the cedar color is much more orange in person. I was hoping for a nice brown tone that would go with all colors, but this just isn't quite there. My only other problem with the vest is that because the hood is removable and has snaps in the front, it lays a little bit strange on my shoulders - oh and a 2-way zip would have made this just perfect! All in all, worth the clearance price I paid and I'll look elsewhere for something in the right color.
