Thermalpuff^™ Hooded Utility Puffer Jacket

I honestly really liked this coat. I am 5’3, 118 lbs, got an XXS. It was still a little bit too big. It’s very cropped (something to keep in mind) but I think the crop looked good. The issue was how puffy this was. It looked really huge and marshmallow like on a small frame. I just wish it was less puffy bc it was so cute. I just couldn’t get past it. You kind of feel ridiculous in it. And I am a big fan of ridiculous patterns and textures! ;) It is pretty warm. I’m from chicago so I’d still prefer a parka or longer coat. It wouldn’t be warm enough for a winter coat there. But if you live in a climate where it doesn’t get so cold, this would be a good coat for you.

This item says the hood is removable and that is absolutely incorrect. This item has buttons running along the hood and zip line for what I have no idea because it just unbuttons and looks odd. Nothing is detachable on this item. It is very bulky especially the hood itself. Its a very cozy and seems warm but it lays weird with "wing like" pockets in the front. It has two pockets on each side as well almost like a set of pockets for cold weather and a set closer to your body when it's very cold out. Regardless the misinformation that the hood is removable is shame because it seems like it would be super warm in the winter.

I was excited to receive this jacket; it looks great in the pics with a unique fit and style. I'm 5'4" 95lbs and ordered an XS, however it was huge. I returned it and got an XXS but going down a size couldn't fix the fact that this jacket is very bulky, very fluffy, and simply not a great fit. I was looking for something oversized, but oversized should still look proportionate, and this simply doesn't. It's puffier in person than in the pics, and though the quality is good, the fit is a tough sell unless looking top heavy is your goal. The hood with the sherpa lining is also unusually large. I returned both sizes for a refund.

I own a lot of coats. I hate the winter and sort of gravitate to buying coats to deal. I think this is a great coat. It is weird and that’s what I love about it. It also seems like it’s going to be warm as heck…which is exactly what I want. I normally only buy coats that cover my butt for warmth, but tried this because it has such a unique look. I am 5’9” 138lbs, pear shaped and tried both small and medium. Both fit. The cuffs were much better for me in the small (they were tighter) but I have tiny wrists. I ended up going with the medium because I liked the bigger volume look, especially in the hood. And the medium gave a smidge more length.

I almost scooped this up in the Nordy sale but decided to wait. My daughter snagged my favorite short puffer for herself so I decided to pick this up in the Rosemary color since it went on sale again. LOVE it! SO warm, soft, comfortable, urban chic and different from all the other puffers! I'm 5' 4" size 8-10 (34D) and the Medium was way too big. Had to return for the small which I can't wait to arrive!!
