Faux Leather Topper Coat

I bought 6 Avec Les Filles jackets to try from this sale. Two long heavier double breasted coats, three bomber jackets and this one. Of the 6, I'm keeping the green bomber jacket and this one in caribou. The color is a beautiful brown that is not too dark and richer than the traditional tan trench. I think its true to the photos with an almost pinky undertone. The faux leather has an unpleasant odor upon removing from the plastic it's shipped in and does require airing out but, it's too beautiful to be a deal breaker (the faux leather 'zinfandel' color bomber by the same brand, I'm returning because its not worth the smell IMO). The lining is a fun leopard print that isn't too bold and the jacket is not too heavy but, by no means flimsy. It's a little roomy (I bought a L. Am a 10 or 12/M or L in tops with a 36g chest and an 8 or 10 in bottoms) but, I like that I definitely have the option to wear with a heavy sweater and it doesn't look sloppy over a tee. Open and closed it lays beautifully. An elevated basic that can be worn, as shown, with denim and a tee or dressed up over a dress and heels. Not sure how the black is in person but, this brown is so gorgeous. Definitely worth the try!!
