Faux-Ever Leather™ Maxi Trench Coat

I didn’t realize how strong the shoulder is here. Nordstrom description doesn’t mention that. After I ordered I read about it on the official Avec Les Filles sight. It says there specifically: “Strong shoulder trench coat.” Ok, minuses: 1. shoulders are way to broad and heavy making your neck almost nonexistent. Plus now this trend with strong shoulders is fading away. 2. Sleeves away too short . I ordered size Medium and the sleeves were way too short. I attributed it to the strong shoulder effect. They’re actually pulling the fabric up. Pluses: 1. The faux leather fabric is of high-quality, almost making it look as if it were a real. 2. The length is nice, though it’s most suitable for tall women. I am almost 5’8” and this looks nice on me. It’s like 53 inches long. I probably could have made it worked, but I would have to take it to the tailor to get the shoulder pads removed and also probably have to get a size Large to get the sleeves’ length longer, and being able to wear some sweaters underneath.

It is a buttery leather and beautiful in every way but the shoulder is way too much. It made me look like a linebacker. Please remake with a normal shoulder! I love the 80s but this is too much.

Very long for 5'7" or tall. Hard to find long lenghts for tall gals. Great coat. Has broad shoulders too. Looks like on model.

We're have you been all my life? It was a great 61 birthday present that I gave myself. A true maxi for a tall girl. And a real classic.

The tailoring is superb. I’m a petite woman but the length is perfect for me with heels. I am in love with the silhouette and would’ve purchased the black one if it hadn’t been sold out. I usually purchase a medium in outerwear but the small was perfect.

order a medium fit is ok but very heavy on and stitches cane out from a belt and shoulder fit is making me look like a box.
