Authentic Original 2-Eye Beaded Boat Shoe (Nordstrom Exclusive)

I got the white ones, but now considering buying the other 2 colors, too. They all are beautiful and just as pictured. The bottoms are non slip and won’t leave marks on the boat, which is a must for me. The white leather felt softer than the brown one. It also felt more comfortable. I had to untie the laces to fit into the shoe, but that wasn’t a big deal. I am a solid size 8 in flats (8.5 in boots and heels) and size 8 fit me fine. They are on the narrow side I’d say but, they’ll stretch some, so I am fine with that. Overall- great shoes. (Just an FYI - the white ones are made of shiny-like leather, where the pink ones are more suede like).

I wanted a casual slip-on, light in color so I chose the ‘white bread’ color. The color is perfect, more like an off white or light cream, not stark white. I typically take a 5-5.5 depending on the shoe and I took these in 5. That said, I think they run slightly large. Maybe barely noticeable to some, but for me a 5 that feels even slightly loose is uncomfortable. I think it’s because they sit SO LOW on the heel. It feels they could slip off although I haven’t had that happen yet. The great thing about real boat shoes is that you can pull the leather laces through, tighten the fit, and trim the ends of leather. Overall these are pretty comfortable and go with a variety of outfits. The color will carry me through the spring and summer as well.

I am way happier than anyone should about a pair of shoes :-). They are even cuter than in the picture and the neutral shade is nice. I wore classic brown Topsiders through high school and college—they were very “in”. They must have either come in a AA then or Mom let me pad them a lot. (Mom was a quad/quint A, so we went though a lots of shoe pads!) I spotted these online a few days ago, the beads really updating a classic. I always liked the look of Topsiders and hoped these would fit. (My feet are wider now but it’s still hard to get decent fitting casual shoes that aren’t dowdy.) I am thrilled these work! The laces can tightened more than expected and the heel runs a touch narrower than most mediums. The leather is soft ( I’ll eventually have to pad) so those needing a wider medium-width shoe should find comfy. Will look great with ankle/cropped jeans, a casual straight mini skirt or shorts.
