Upscale, Casual (But Just a Bit Dressy) Comfort
I have a short, wide foot with a high instep: not always easy to fit for shoes. These are comfortable and solidly put together. I wear them with tabi socks at times and by themselves at others. Both solutions work well and feel good. When I first took them out of the box the leather was stiff in the straps and the foot pad was still too flat. I figured, correctly, that they needed to be worn for a few days to help the leather form to my particular foot. I am totally happy with them. I wear them to work on a regular basis and that keeps my feet happy, which keeps me happy. And, yes, they look every bit as good in person, as they do in the photos.

Black - Fading so badly from the sun
I know California sun can be pretty strong, but I thought high quality sandals from Nordstrom was supposed to withstand... These leather sandals fade so badly.... Otherwise comfortable and sturdy, but discoloration makes me give them one star

All the guys in my life own and love these. When my son first tried them on, he quit those cheap flip flops forever! The contoured footbed really does support and the leather lasts much longer while looking a lot nicer. These are not cheap flip flops, but a very nice golden brown leather, supportive sole, and are worthy of the cost.

Beautifully crafted sandal
It's a beautifully crafted sandal but I find the bridge of the sandal to be very tight particularly around the toes. In trying to break in the sandal, I did a lot of walking. Unfortunately, I developed a blister between my big toe and 2nd toe. The sole of the sandal is amazingly comfortable and provide sufficient support. These are great-looking sandals. In my opinion, if you don't have to walk, these are perfect for standing around at an outdoor event or swimming pool.
