What it does: It contains a rich blend of botanical oils including babassu, hazelnut, antimicrobial karanja and renewing pomegranate, and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. Absolutely brilliant!
Excellent product, like all the cosmetics from this brand. A little expensive to buy but very economical to use. Can’t live without this oil. The ideal oil. Comforts, softens skin and penetrates quickly. Gives a lovely glow. Just a few drops after applying the rich Cream! This oil is just perfect! I wash my face with it every night! It doesn't give you pimples and it's perfect for sensitive skin. To seal in moisture, it's great as a final layer! A product that is pleasant to use and completely lives up to its promises. My skin is moisturized and soft to the touch. I'm delighted.

I was sent an older bottle
With the exception of the Flagship stores, Nordstrom quality is slipping. Augustinus Bader products are expensive, high quality, Vegan products, including the iconic face oil. The oil should be very, very pale yellow in color, with the shade precisely matching the brand sample I received from the Flagship store. However, my local store had incorrectly price-labeled their bottles so one had to be mailed to the store. It was bright yellow in color with a a slightly oxidized odor. Should not have happened.

Quite heavy
I have combination oily skin that tend to be dehydrated and is acne prone. I have tried it as a part of AB set which didn’t include the serum. This product is too heavyweight for my combination skin to be used directly on skin. However it works perfectly well when combined with the serum and I love the result.

Not for everyone
This is an expensive product that doesn’t work for me. I have a combination skin type and had an allergic reaction because this was too occlusive of a product. It also smells like a cod oil or rather old laundry. If you have dry skin I think it would work well for you, but I could not get on with this product

Absorbs like a dream!
I have combination / dry skin, and this is the only face oil I have used that doesn't feel heavy and greasy. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling deeply nourished and hydrated, and it does last a very very long time. Its layers well with almost every other brand too! The only downside to this is it smells a little bit like a CBD oil.

Incredibly average + rancid scent
This is an incredibly average, nothing special face oil. It also smells horrendous, to the point that I freaked out a little the first time I used it, thinking I had just put rancid oil all over my face. This, along with the price, means I would never recommend this as a first choice for a face oil. Will it get the job done? Sure. Are there much better products with a much fairer price point available? Absolutely.
