Atlantis 8.5-Quart Stainless Steel Stockpot

The dimensional shape of this stockpot is my ideal as it is narrow & tall for optimizing stock quality. Capacity is perfect for average home cook when not making bigger batches of stock. Atlantis is the best cookware made and is definitely worth the investment. The stock pot has a thick, 7 layer base made with copper and silver, two of the best heat conducting materials. They're welded to the bottom of the pan in a special way that eliminates a hot spot where food would stick. It conducts heat so well I can boil water in a few minutes, and that's just on a glass cooktop. The lid fits tightly so no moisture escapes. It conducts heat so well you can actually cook without water! And best of all, there are no rivets! Handles on the pan and lid are welded. This makes clean up a breeze and helps keep the handles from getting hot.

Therefore, wood and silicone kitchen tools are recommended. Compatible with gas, induction, ceran, halogen, and electric cooktops and oven safe up to 500F degree. Handwashing is recommended specially for a large pot like this one. A Bar Keeper's friend stainless steel cream cleanser is a really good must-have to keep your cookware in pristine condition and helps remove food residue. Washing and cleaning is a breeze.
