Typical Mezlan quality/style!
This marks the third pair of Mezlan shoes owned and they are just as high in quality and design as the other two. This pair, however, has generated more interest and compliments than any other shoes owned, EVER! They are comfortable, didn’t produce blisters the first time worn and seem to fit true to size. The only kinda sorta strange thing is that the shoes are shipped with the red laces installed with a black leather decoration affixed to each lace and in order to install the black laces, the black leather decoration must be removed and it cannot be re-installed as it is affixed with a staple.

Too many defects to risk another try
Online, these shoes look great, and I just hoped they would be comfortable. The came in the most luxurious packaging so I was all excited. But no, they are badly made AND very uncomfortable. The red trim only works if it is clean, but the makers had slopped black over the toe end, where everyone can see, and all around the sides, the red trim was unevenly colored. There were also blemishes in the leather, which with its high shine was very unforgiving. What a shame.

Beautiful shoe, but not comfy.
Wore these for a holiday party and taking back after one wear. Extremely uncomfortable. I’m disappointed since they’re a beautiful shoe.

Damaged upon arrival
I ordered the shoes and paid the expedited shipping to have them in time for an event because my local store did not have them. Upon arriving the box was damaged, which wasn’t a big deal. However, the right shoe has black scuff marks on the tip in the left shoe Has the threading coming off of the side. This was not what I was expecting on a quality aspect.
