Lace Midi Dress

I tend to find reviews with body type descriptions the most helpful, so that I may compare to myself for sizing. I am 5'5", weigh 135, wear a 34 C, and I am regularly a size 6. (Always depends on the clothing brand, occasionally a size 8 with smaller fitted clothing lines). With that said, I ordered this in a size medium. It fits snug under my breast but the zipper did zip up ok. Everything else fits wonderfully. This dress is very beautiful. I ordered it in both the coral cedar and mint. I kept my eye on this dress for an upcoming spring wedding I will be attending. The mint is a little on the light side and is just too close to resembling a wedding dress hue, for my comfort, so I returned it and kept the coral. The coral cedar is a gorgeous color and compliments my skin tone very well (I am Hispanic with tanned skin). This dress is very classy and is perfect for a wedding type party or spring time formal gathering. Its nicely fitted at the top, and the bottom runs a little above my ankles, but still covers my calves. I believe it will still be a head turner (I've never been into wearing the clubbing attire, I tend to be slightly more conservative). The lace detail is gorgeous and the dress itself feels very well made. I can't wait to wear it.

I saw this dress online and immediately fell in love with it! With the spring season coming up I thought it would be perfect for the many bridal/spring events I have coming up. I read numerous reviews and took note to the warnings of the sizes running small. I usually wear a medium so I used the sizing chart and measured as a large. Listening to the many warning reviews I ordered an X-Large in the lilac color. You can only imagine my shock when I tried it on and couldn't even zipper the x-large. There is no give to the fabric at all and the zipper is not durable. I am very disappointed in Nordstrom for marketing a dress where the sizing chart is so incorrect. Immediately returned this dress.
