The pros: they seem comfortable, especially in the shaft which can be a problem with some ankle boots. The leather is soft and clearly of quality. But, for a $250 pair I can't overlook the tarnish in the hardware. I'm not sure if the pictures show it accurately, but it's pretty noticeable, and because the style has so much hardware, that means it cheapens the whole boot. Unfortunately I will return.

I just love the comfort and quality of these boots. The leather is soft and shapes to my feet. The fit is structured and supportive but they are not heavy so I can easily walk for miles while wearing these. I have tried a number of lug sole boots and these are the best ever. I also like the two tone styling which makes them a match for nearly every color and style. I am a big fan of Pikolinos and these do not disappoint.

I very rarely write reviews. I am making an exception for these exceptional boots! My husband recently bought boots he had to break in, so he was wearing them around the house for days. These boots were so comfortable from the moment I put them on. They are well padded on the sole and on the sides around the ankles with good arch support. On my first day of wearing them, I walked 9 miles around Madison, WI, and my feet were comfortable and warm. The boots looked a little scuffed by the end of the day, but all the marks came off easily with a quick wipe down. These seem like very high quality boots that will last many years.
