Floral Embroidered Long Sleeve Minidress

I had been searching for an organza dress for some time and bought this immediately when I came across it! It comes with a nude/pink slip underneath that is not attached to the dress. Unfortunately, the nude slip was basically my skin color so everything blended together and left me feeling quite amorphous. I ended up subbing it out for a black body suit and it was the exact upgrade the dress needed! Despite the dress being oversized and billowy, having a dark slip/bodysuit gives the perfect silhouette when light shines through. Also, don't try to cinch with a belt... the dress has too much fabric and it doesn't look good. I'm 5'3 and the dress hits just a couple inches above the knee. Runs a little large. Normally wear a size 8-10 and bought an 8, but could have easily gone for a 6. Buy it!

Other reviews advising that this dress runs large are all true!! I bought my typical size and it was sooo big I had to return. I still intend to purchase this dress just not sure if one or two sizes down will be the winner. I recommend buying 2 sizes below standard to avoid having to buy and return multiple times. My other callouts are that the dress is on the shorter side but for a petite frame it is perfect, and I wish the brand designer would have used a different back closer method, dress is so pretty in the front but looks aprony in the back. My final rating is 3.5

Girls, when I ordered this I absolutely fell in love and had to have it. I saw it on one of my favorite fashion bloggers and was like yassss! But oh noooooo, this dress came in…… tried it on….. and I looked like a clown. The sleeves are cut just like a clown suit. The sleeves are so bulbous and the slip underneath fit me like a T-shirt length(I’m 5’9) you could totally size down this but for anyone who is on the taller side…. This dress will be beyond short, More of like a tunic at that point. The colors are so pretty and I just so wanted to love this. Total bummer
