I have been an ASICS nimbus runner for over a decade but the fit is now different so I decided to give the Novablast a try. I’m official a convert. Love these. I have high arches and these are perfect. I run about 120 miles/month. These are great shoes. Highly recommend. I wear an 8.5 and ordered my usual size 9 in running shoes.

First Disappointing ASICS Shoe
I run in exclusively ASICS shoes. I find they fit my feet well, are incredibly stable, and offer very good support. When the line I had been running in got discontinued by Nordstrom, I tried the novablast. I was incredibly disappointed. While they were very springy, my feet instantly overpronated. Within just a few hours my knees and ankles hurt, and this was just walking around. Sending them back.

These are the best running shoes I have purchased in years. The fit is amazing, true to size. I have a long, somewhat narrow foot and the toe box of many shoes are too wide, allowing my foot move around in the shoe. The support on this show is the best part. The ball of the foot and the heel are extra padded and incredibly comfortable. They are like walking on pillows, yet super supportive. I am considering buying a second pair just to save, so I don’t lose track of this model.

Nice shoe returned
I have narrow feet but narrow widths are not made anymore. I have to guess and return. I am sure for some this is a great shoe. I did not like clunky sole, might cause a person to trip and hurt themselves. Three stars because they did not work for me.

No bounce in your step!
Maybe if you’re using these just for running, they’re ok, but if you want them for anything else (kick boxing, Zumba, HIIT training), they are way too stiff. I use ASICS a lot, and was shocked at how little “squishiness” these had. Just plain uncomfortable, and frankly pretty ugly to boot. I’ll be sticking with my gel cumulus.
