The Elite Black Finish Collection

This is the first makeup brush I have tried and I'm so glad that I did because it works wonders! I have been using the Beauty Blender for years and I thought that it was doing a good job - at least until I tried the Artis Oval 7 Brush that came in this kit. I love that the brush is so soft and it really does make my foundation look flawless. I use it to apply Estee Lauder Double Wear Light foundation and I am shocked at how well it looks when applied using this brush. I am really impressed. Another great thing I love about this brush is that it is so easy to clean. During the week, after applying my foundation, I just wipe the brush on my makeup towel and it is completely clean. I watched a video about cleaning and they suggested that you shouldn't use soap and water because the brush would take a long time to dry since the bristles are so tightly packed and it would probably still be wet the next day. I purchased the Artis Brush Cleansing Foam and will likely use that once a week to keep the bristles clean. Overall, I absolutely love this brush and would definitely recommend it. I'm never going back to the Beauty Blender.

I was skeptical on ordering this brush set, and I always wanted to try them. But I was holding back because the regular version are flexible and "easy to break". Well this set, specially the oval 7 brush is metal, sturdy. I wanted to exchange the set because the mini palm brush is very small, somewhat uncomfortable for someone that has carpal tunnel syndrome. Well I check at my closest Nordstrom the regular oval 7 and 8 and too flexible, now I know why people complained that has snapped in half. I gave a try to the oval 7 from this set and is amazing, its 100% better than beauty blender, itcosmetics brushes and real technique which are the one I have used. This brush is so multi-use and with such a perfection on the application on foundation, bronzer, concealer, contour and highlighter. And it does not absorb products. It cleans super quick.

I have the palm brush that I use all the time, so when I saw this set I had to get it for the mini version. Now having had it for weeks, I use the oval 7 all the time for my foundation application. These brushes are so soft. They don't take in the product. Applies smoothly. Highly recommend!
