Indigo Tanzanite is wildly underrated. I never hear anyone talk about it and they should be(Rouge Malachite get’s all of the attention). I can see how it might be perceived as a masculine scent but I think it’s 100% unisex. It’s an alluring evening scent for sure but it can be worn in daytime as well. In my opinion. It’s not aggressive or off putting in any way. It’s just smooth, comforting, inviting and maybe even intoxicating. It would smell divine on a man or a woman. I think this fragrance stands near the gourmand line. The almond and wood notes are blended to perfection. It smells delicious but it’s not specifically food like. To me that is perfect. I want to smell delicious but not like a piece of almond dessert. The longevity is also wonderful. I sprayed it on my wrist and forearm to test and all day I was getting wonderful whiffs of it. The heat really makes it jump off the skin as well. It didn’t start to die down until about the 7-8 hr mark. This is upon first sprays too(from a freshly opened bottle). I’m sure it will only get stronger with maceration. I think I will buy a backup bottle soon since Armani tends to discontinue all of the best fragrances. Very frustrating. Stop discontinuing everything Armani! Promote the Privé line better so it garners more attention. Side note: The Armani Privé bottles are my favorite fragrance bottle design. Top tier for sure.

It is reminiscent of Grand sior by mfk , or tuxedo ysl, as in a PATCHOULI BEAST, you do get this purple attitude the creamyness from the milk and almond really create that purple attitude. great for date night, or clubbing in the tropics!

Indigo Tanzanite is a more complex version of Cuir Amethyst. It has the same dry, powdery, woody elements of Cuir Amethyst but none of projection. This is much weaker and is definitely a skin scent. It’s too bad, because there is something elegant and mysterious about it. I get a faint whiff of the same interesting scent found in Tom Ford’s Black Orchard (the scent without the sweetness).
