Arizona Big Buckle Genuine Shearling Slide Sandal

I own probably ten pairs of Birks that I wear during different seasons. I loved these when I saw them on display at my local Nordstrom and immediately went to try them on. The gold buckles are very uncomfortable. You feel the metal against the top of your foot from underneath, and it's really uncomfortable. Other reviewers seem to love them so maybe it's my feet. They are adorable, though!

I’ve had several pair of the fleece lined Birks before and my only complaint was that they were so warm and comfy that I wore them ALL the time so eventually the fleece got worn down and they needed to be replaced. I loved the new look of the fancier gold buckle and so even though I’d read similar reviews I bought 2 pair- one for me and the other as a gift. I wore them for the first time last night to a Friendsgiving party, did minimal walking and the part of my feet under the buckles hurts so much. Super frustrated that I’ll never wear them because if they weren’t comfy last night I can’t imagine having to walk in them. Wish I could return!

Love love love these! I have been using them around the house as slippers so my feet won’t hurt when I’m schlepping laundry around or standing in various places in my kitchen for hours on end doing dishes and cooking. I don’t think I have the right vibe to wear them outside the house, but I saw them on cute gal in a boutique in Los Olivos and she looked great. But they do provide a modicum of joy that takes away some of the pain of housework.

The shearling is beautifully done, jet black and thick. Hardware is luxe and really elevate the look overall. I’d love to own the cream now but since the hair comes to the edge I wouldn’t be able to handle getting them dirty. I can’t speak on long term comfort but just around the house they feel comfortable so far. I’m glad I got them despite others comments about the buckle bothering them. I own a felt pair that I pretty much live in and are so comfortable but these are my fashion pair so I don’t plan to wear for long periods of time. Get them!

Purchased "new" from Nordstroms....it is very evident the slippers have been wore, there is even a proof of purchase tag on the mangled box....very disappointing....i would be returning regardless of the condition received. I am a 20+ year loyal customer very unhappy

Ordered these online, if I would have tried them on in the store and walked two steps I never would have purchased. The buckles are so heavy and hurt the top of the foot with every step. Returned immediately.
