Sutton Waterproof Tall Boot (Women)

I reviewed every tall black boot I could find on the internet & loved these because they are waterproof, fit the dimensions of my leg, don't have a high heel or buckles to snag my clothes. I have Ariat cowboy boots and love the comfort/fit. I ordered 3 pair but these came in first. I tried them on and walked around the room and they were like walking on marshmallows. There was nothing NOT to love about them. I wear an 8 but because of the reviews, went down 1/2 size & they fit like a glove with thin socks. An 8 would be sloppy on the calf. When the other 2 pair came in, they were softer, thinner leather but felt like I was walking on cardboard. They were from a reputable shoe company but made in China & were not comfortable so I returned them. There is snow on the ground & I also tested them when the grass was covered with rain. I will live in these for the Iowa winter!

Very stiff and tight leather boots. These boots are made of beautiful, high quality leather but are very stiff and difficult to walk in. They also hit very high on the leg - right below the knee. The footbed is not well padded and these boots are not leather all the way around. The back portion is a heavy duty fabric that has a very small amount of stretch. Too uncomfortable to wear even for a break in period. Will be returning these.
