LOVING MY ARIATS!

I reviewed every tall black boot I could find on the internet & loved these because they are waterproof, fit the dimensions of my leg, don't have a high heel or buckles to snag my clothes. I have Ariat cowboy boots and love the comfort/fit. I ordered 3 pair but these came in first. I tried them on and walked around the room and they were like walking on marshmallows. There was nothing NOT to love about them. I wear an 8 but because of the reviews, went down 1/2 size & they fit like a glove with thin socks. An 8 would be sloppy on the calf. When the other 2 pair came in, they were softer, thinner leather but felt like I was walking on cardboard. They were from a reputable shoe company but made in China & were not comfortable so I returned them. There is snow on the ground & I also tested them when the grass was covered with rain. I will live in these for the Iowa winter!

Good looking boot but very uncomfortable

Very stiff and tight leather boots. These boots are made of beautiful, high quality leather but are very stiff and difficult to walk in. They also hit very high on the leg - right below the knee. The footbed is not well padded and these boots are not leather all the way around. The back portion is a heavy duty fabric that has a very small amount of stretch. Too uncomfortable to wear even for a break in period. Will be returning these.

I love these boots!

These boots are great. I'm so glad I ordered them. I was a little hesitant because my calf measures a little bigger than the suggestion but they zipped up with no problem. There very beautiful. The dark brown suede is really nice . You can dress them up or wear them casual. I love how comfortable they are and waterproof. I live in the midwest and I feel secure in the footing for upcoming weather conditions. I'm very happy with my purchase, worth the money.

Nice but runs large

beautiful boot but runs quite large. I'm always a solid 8 1/2 but had to go to an 8 for these. The 8 1/2 was so big I could remove the boots without even unzipping them.

Comfy, Fitted, Waterproof - Just right.

This boot is totally comfy... JUST what I was looking for -- low heel, waterproof, and I love the stretchy back which makes for a sleek fit. I'm so happy with these.. I will wear them a lot. I wish they made them in a whiskey color! I'd buy those too.

Perfect right out of the box!

I bought this and the black Frye Carson knee high boot in black to pick a new one for the winter. This one will be the keeper! My feet are usually 8.5, I ordered an 8.5 in this and the fit is perfect even with thick socks. I bought a 9 in the Frye and its still too small. This fits immediately, zips nicely, and feels warm and dry. Its kind of dorky to say, but the bottom treads are good and I didnt find myself slipping as I walked around the house on hardwood or carpet. This is important for a mother of 4 young kids! These boots are kind of basic, I know, but they're a good buy!

Best Boots

I love these boots so much! The leather is beautiful on them, the firing in the back helps them fit perfectly on your calf, and the lug sole is stylish and functional. These are comfortable and I’m so happy, since I got them to wear to work. I’m on my feet for long periods of time and these are great! These ran true to size for me. I highly recommend!
