Very poor quality

I purchased this jacket in July 2025 and have only worn it a handful of times, starting in October and November. Despite very limited use, a tear has developed along the seam without any misuse or external damage on my part. Given the price and the fact that the jacket is only a few months old and has not even been worn for five months, I strongly believe this is due to a material or sewing defect. I would not expect this level of quality issue from an expensive jacket with such minimal wear. I am very disappointed with the quality and would not recommend this product.

Hello Jason, thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we’re truly sorry to hear that your jacket developed a seam tear after such minimal use. Get rid of the word logo on the back collar

Not a fan of the ‘Arc’teryx’ wording on the back of the collar.

Wouldn't recommend for active use, poor durability

Design and fit are excellent, let down by poor quality, low durability fabrics. Best for light city use, not active use.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on the Atom Jacket. We're glad to hear that you appreciated the design and fit, though we're sorry to learn that the durability did not meet your expectations. The Atom is designed for active use and is intended as a versatile synthetic insulated layer for hiking, climbing, and everyday outdoor activities. Its lightweight construction, breathable side panels, weather-resistant face fabric, and Coreloft™ insulation are all designed to provide comfort and performance during movement. That said, we understand that durability expectations can vary depending on the activity and conditions in which the jacket is used. If you encounter any issue with your jacket, we recommend submitting a Product Service Request through this link: https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/help/product-service/service-request. Our After Sales team will be happy to assess the garment and determine what support options may be available. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to share your comments with our team.

Absolute best!

This jacket has unrestricted freedom of movement. It's super light for the warmth. The breathability is amazing. Works great as a stand-alone in Canadian fall and spring or as a mid layer under my Epsilon Down hoody when it gets -25°C.

Men's Atom Jacket Sise XS

The men's Atom Jacket is made good in terms of breathability, durability, insulation, and equivalent. But I think that the back length and sleeve length should shorten for the men's size XS. I would make both 2" to 3" shorter. (The same applies to the men's Gamma Light Weight Jacket.) Thank you W L
