The Solution Pads

I have hormonal acne and used Proactiv for years. Then I became pregnant and breastfeed my baby for a year - so I could not use harsh products on my skin (like salicylic acid) b/c they were contraindicated for pregnancy & breastfeeding. I found the ARCONA line and my skin has never looked so clear and radiant! I use the White Tea cleanser with my Clairisonic brush; the Solution pads + Magic White Ice (night); and the Tabula Rasa pads (day). I also love Jouer Illuminating tinted moisturizer.

I started using the Arcona travel kit for problem skin (which you can get online) and once I used all the travel sizes up I purchased full size. In the travel kit the Solution comes in a pump and while it was okay, I wanted to try the pads. I feel you get more bang for your buck with the pads for multi reasons, the pads are fully covered in the product so you can really cover your skin and you can cut them in half as well to make them last longer. I use mine every other night, making the product last at least 3 months, and thats without cutting it in half. Using the Raspberry Acne Bar, 'AM' Acne Lotion, The Solution, and Cranberry Gommage has cleared my skin like nothing else I have tired. You need to stick with it, these products aren't a quick fix, gives it at least a month to see results. Once you do, you will be glad you did.

I am really pleased with this product so far. I've been using it a few weeks every other night and it has helped clear up clogged pores on my chin that typically develop into full blown pimples. My skin is also really smooth. I have combination skin that isn't sensitive. I do think it could be harsh for those with really sensitive skin and the gentle solution might be a better choice. I would definitely recommend!

I’ve been using the Solution Pads 2-3x a week for almost four years now and they are one of my absolute favorite products. I apply to clean skin at night before bed and wake up to clear, bright skin in the morning. I almost always get a glowing skin related compliment the day after use. This product has refined my pores and helped with normal pore buildup. If I feel a pimple coming on, these pads dry it up fast. In winter I tend to be dry where my upper lip meets the nostrils so I don’t apply there, but otherwise I apple all over my face and neck. I’m a big fan.

I read that these were good for congested skin and I tried them for that reason. They stung just a bit but that went away quickly. I was hoping for deeper exfoliation to help bring small whiteheads to the surface. Unfortunately I didn’t notice much of a difference. The exfoliation was decent on a superficial level. I was just expecting more for the price.
