What it is: An antibacterial lotion that combats skin eruptions, unclogs pores and kills bacteria.

What it does: The formula prevents the formation of comedones and P-bacteria, the leading cause of acne, with antimicrobial totara extracts plus 2% lactic and 3% salicylic acids. Antibacterial manuka extract then clears skin and reduces inflammation.

miracle of miracles
Life changer. I have struggled with clogged pores, red pumps, some acne, blackheads, blotchy skin for most of my adult life - just when i'd thought i'd made it through adolescence unscathed my 20's brought a nice surprise for me. i have tried everything short of the dermatologist, drug store through to premium brands, i've spent hundreds upon hundreds, i've done regular professional facials, the works. acne directed products left me irritated dry and flaky, sensitive skin products left my pores clogged, nothing was right. SO naturally i was skeptical. i didn't buy the whole regimen outright, i started with this baby and waited 4 weeks to see results - AMAZING. I have now added "the solution" (1-2 times a week nightly) and the acne PM, am 6 weeks in and couldn't be happier.
I haven't changed my cleansing or toning regimen at all, i use clarisonic brush and cleansing products, i just switched out my usual morning and night lotions for the am and pm acne and twice a week the restore solution cream, and the difference is STRIKING, true transformation. my skin looks even and clear, i get the odd blemish but they clear up quickly and are increasingly rare. no more clusters of blemishes, redness and irritation banished, pores have drastically decreased in size around the nose. i had all but given up on ever having nice skin again. i hadn't ventured out of my door without makeup in god knows how long, and I have now gone whole days running errands seeing friends without a drop of coverup or foundation. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH the arcona acne line for the sensitive and irritated skinned out there.

it's very sticky... it doesn't feel like a lotion to me... i still have to put moisturizer on top to my skin will not feel like it has a plastic film... i'm not sure if it's helping my acne...

Good ol' Arcona
Yet another item from Arcona that hasn't disappointed me. I actually mix this with Arcona's White Ice lotion and put this on every day, and despite how hard I am on my skin (working manufacturing, often putting on dust masks and air hoods) I have had almost no breakouts. Also great as a spot treatment anytime.

Since I began using Arcona in March 2011, I have never experienced my routine without AM Acne lotion. I bought it when the Arcona specialist informed that it would help with blackheads. I do think my blackheads are near non-existent since I began using my Arcoma regime, however, I don't know how much of it I can contribute to this product, only because it could be something else in my Arcona kit. I don't feel like it absorbs quickly andor all of it's extracts for combating blemishes, I like that it doesn't sting.

Nice daily lotion but not 100% effective
I purchased the full size after running out of the sample that came with the travel size basic 5 set. The full size seems like a different formula: it's a slightly different color than the sample and has sunscreen, which the sample did not have. This lotion is great for daily use; not too heavy or greasy yet still moisturizes, however, it's not an end-all. I still have breakouts here and there that need spot treatment.
