The big day for Y2K-era watch-ers has arrived. Fossil revives its most popular turn-of-the-millennium wristwatch, featuring a stylized digital seconds display boldly scrolling beneath an iridescent mineral crystal face. A special case-framing leather strap completes the sleek, retro-futuristic style.

Measurements: 40mm case; 20mm band width.

Strap/closure: Leather strap with adjustable buckle closure.

Movement: Two-hand Japanese analog-digital quartz movement. Quartz movement: powered by a battery and features an internal electrical circuit to control the rate of the watch's ticking.

Complications: Digitally displayed seconds.

Other features: Super-LumiNova® hands.

Face: Mineral crystal face.

Very disappointing
I was heartbroken when my original stopped working, so was very excited by this new model. I wish I’d read the reviews - the ticking seconds are barely legible - the contrast is terrible and not nearly as good as the pictures or the original. Deeply disappointed.

Well built! Shame its dark...
My son asked me for this watch im the 90s and I told him no. He passed away a couple years ago and I bought this in his memory. Limited edition, nice presentation overall. Comfortable to wear, feels well built. The display of the flames is very dark, almost cant see it at all. The pusher works fine on mine. Two distinct patterns. As dark as it is, a bit of a let down. Still glad I bought it. Wearing it right now. Seems to keep time well enough.

Think Twice
I thought it was just me, until I saw Mal H’s review. I am having the same issues with legibility. I can’t see any difference in the flames when I hit the pusher button. I’ve been buying Fossil watches for years and have never before been so disappointed in one.

Not like the pictures
Bought the new big tic watch,I’m disappointed with this one you can hardly see the background second movement. Unlike my original from when they first came out which is easy to see,I’m only keeping it to add to my large fossil collection. It is a nice looking watch but the poor visibility of the background numbers let’s it down,the picture showing it is much more clear which tempted me to buy.
