Satia Sandal

I wear a size 9N or 9.5N in most sandals. This sandal is perfect with a shoe pad in the toe area. You feel like you are walking on air. I only wear Arche shoes, sandals and boots. They are worth every penny and you can walk all day on any kind of surface. These sandals look equally good with shorts, a short skirt or sundress. Worth the investment. The elastic top straps help keep the sandal on your foot but are not too tight or binding, on your foot. I have all the colors.

I struggle with my size 4 arthritic, bunioned, failed-metatarsal, jones fractured feet. Arche and pronation control running shoes are the only ones that offer enough structure, support, comfort and sure-footedness that I need. Hooray for these delightful sandals! I am wearing them out of the box at home for the rest of the day without my orthotcs. Totally comfortable after 90 minutes. True test is unfortunately outside on the hills and byways. I can at least wear them for casual outings...or so I hope. Much nicer than my usual running shoes. If they work out for my feet, I will bump it another star. The toe portion of the footbed is elongated on the front i nside for feet whose big toe is the longest, unlike my second toe is the longest feet. I subtracted one star because my feet look strange in them.

This sandal was a glorious find. It is extremely well made and so very comfortable which is first and foremost when you need a good shoe to spend hours in. You could put this on your foot first time and wear all day long. The two color combination gives it a classy look. Slight elevated heel which means it will look good with pants or skirt/dress look. The wide strap on front is great for covering up any troublesome bunions you dont want showing and at the same time feels great. The shoe is pricey but I feel buying one good summer shoe that will last longer due to quality is better than two or three pairs that wont. I love shopping Nordstroms shoes.

They seemed comfortable, however I wasn't sure how tight the straps would have been if these shoes were worn on a hot day. The heel I felt didn't give me enough support. I suffer from pain on the back of my heels. In other words, I didn't feel enough arch support in these shoes. Size was true to size. I am typically a 7, unless I go to Italian brands. I wished there was more leather to the shoe. For nearly $300, I was paying for a little bit of leather on the front and back and non leather straps that held my foot in. It felt a little overpriced...
