Comfy cozy combat boots
I wanted a pair of combat boots with rugged soles to wear with ankle jeans. Tried on a number of comfort higher end brands and found these to be best. Thick yet lightweight sole; cozy brushed lining; soft supple leather. I may change out the thick laces for something thinner. A winner!!

Bronze color defect
I bought this boot online in the bronze color. Super comfortable and great color, but there were specks of silver in certain places where the bronze color didn’t seem to be applied evenly in the manufacturing process. The color quality wasnt worth paying full price so I returned the boot. Before buying the boot from Nordstrom I tried the boot on at a different retailer and one boot squeaked. I think there may be some manufacturing defects with this boot or Ara brand.

Not as pictured
Nothing like the photo. They appeared to be smooth leather and shiny in the photo and the boots I received are matte and pebbled leather. This looks cheap and am returning for the price.

Love them, wish they lasted
Love these boots, they tick off all the boxes for me: lug sole, zipper, laces, comfy toe box for my wide-ish feet. I've had them for two years (one year of rare use during quarantine) and the sole has started coming off. I thought for this price the sole would be stitched but it seems it's glued.

Cute, cute, cute
Love the look of this boot. The leather is soft and conforms to the foot. Surprisingly lightweight. Although the sole looks thick, I can still feel the ground which was only a issue walking on cobblestone in Europe,not enough cushion.
