Ulyssa Weatherproof Bootie (Women)

Beautiful styling and well made. This is my second pair of Aquatalia boots. I wore my first pair for 10 years! And was still getting compliments on them - a testimony to their timeless styling and quality construction. This pair follows suit - even more beautiful in person. I love how well they hold up in our tough Midwestern winters. I typically wear a 7-1/2 and ordered these in my usual size and they fit perfectly. Well-worth the investment.

In line with the other Aquatalia boots I own, these are well-made, elegant boots. I really like the streamlined look, where the leather covering of the heels is connected to the boot shaft. Some ankle boots/booties can rub your ankles, but these don't seem to. The sizing runs slightly large. My feet are true 6.5 in length, medium to slightly narrow width, and 6s fit me better than 6.5s. They are a little snug on top of the feet, possibly due to my high instep. Length-wise, 6.5s were too long and made my heels slip. I'd say take your regular size if you plan on wearing thicker socks/if your feet are wide; otherwise you may want to try on 1/2 size smaller & your regular size.

I must own at least six or more pairs of Aquatila boots and booties, and these are my favorite. They are so comfortable. The heel height is perfect if you are going to be doing a lot of walking, plus the height of the bootie, fits nicely under all jeans and pants. And I absolutely love the navy. I usually wear a 6 in most shoes, but like to go up to 6.5 in Aquatila boots; especially since I like to wear a sock.
