Nice soft leather, beautiful boots.
The heel height is 2 3/4 rather than 2 1/4, I measured it at the back of the heels. Still comfortable to walk in. I normally size up by 1/2 for boots as I want to wear mid weight wool socks.
I was not sure about the square toes by looking at the picture, but it is narrowed toward the front. They do not look too square, and more comfortable than pointed toes.
I normally like Stuart Weitzman boots, but their stretchy boots do not have zippers. These boots are so much easier to put on and take off as they have zippers.
