Aqua Media Cologne forte

I was trying hard to love this scent, however it fell short for me. It is not bad, however it reminds me of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and the way it dries down on my skin is a bit nauseating. Sadly returning back to the store.

Good thing I tried it before purchasing. On me it smells exactly like Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden. This one is a bit more concentrated 'tea', Arden's version has a softer note.

Starts citrusy and a little herby, dries down to a wonderful citrus/musk on my skin. Very unique! Wonderful summer/fall scent.

I adore this Maison. I went into Saks to purchase Grand Soir (I adore this one). I was looking for a light summer scent. I found what I was looking for in Aqua Media. It opens with citrus and bergamot as found in teas, top notes (grassy), there’s a hint of fennel. Very aromatic. It then opens into musk-like note scent reminiscent of clean linen. The bottom notes are floral -hedione. It evokes tea and jasmine binding to floral rose petals. It is long lasting and strong, so don’t need to use much.

I am glad I got the small size for this. I was intrigued by the scent profile and bought it thinking it would be an amazing summer scent. The second I sprayed it on my skin it smelled like lemons and cilantro. Don’t get me wrong, I like the smell of both but just not on me. It wears fairly clean and does fade after a few minutes to something subtle. I wear it out to lunches and events during the day where I’m running around. I don’t think I’ll repurchase. It is a clean, fresh, and zesty smell but not for me. It could also wear differently on me but I have yet to test on someone else to see. Just be aware that it gives a summer drink smell. Not entirely bad, but not at all something I find myself gravitating towards.

Reminds me of a familiar scent that I used to love back in the days. Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden BUT at an elevated smell like it’s its fancy version but the notes are there.
